Miami Poker Run 2017
Miami Boat Show Poker Run February 18-21, 2021 Celebrating 25 years since its inception in 1996, the Miami Boat Show Poker Run brings together the key players in the performance marine industry, on the heels of the Miami International Boat Show! Florida Powerboat Club Key West Offshore Poker Run Florida Powerboat Club New for 2016 is a choice of two departure venues. Participants can leave from North Miami Beach near Baker’s Haulover Inlet for a 180-mile run to Key West or from Grove Harbour Marina in Coconut Grove, Florida, for a 165-mile run.
In addition to private boats, many power boat charter companies have reported that request for power boats for the poker run have been up and many commercial party boats and ferries are close to being sold out for today's big poker run extravagance.
The annual Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda poker run is becoming for the Virgin Islands what carnival has become to Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, or carnival in Trinidad and Tobago.
Every resident for the most part with a boat attends the poker run and over the past years, there have been boats of all kind participating from Puerto Rico, Miami, St. Maarten, Anguilla, and the United States Virgin Islands.
Everyone wants a glimpse
Scores of onlookers, including children, tourists, and the media will line the shore routes or on house pouches with the aim to get a glimpse of the sea lane of the Sir Francis Drake channel littered with boats, people, and the paparazzi.
Many young women have done their nails, and feet along with having the right outfit ready to show and tell, while others have spent some time in the Gym to show off on top of some of the well-known power boats and big yachts around the Virgin Islands.

- No Name (28/05/2017, 13:07) Like (22)Dislike (29)Reply@ job
And that's your business????- job (28/05/2017, 13:32) Like (21)Dislike (16)Reply@ No name, no it's not. No wonder the BVI the way it is and we continue to loose our young men then we wonder why.
- Corruption (29/05/2017, 06:29) Like (5)Dislike (4)ReplyYes it is actually. It is my concern since as we climb the corruption index ladder the harder it becomes to attract business to the BVI. That difficulty affects everything and everyone and makes life harder.
BVI is not self sustaining. Therefore anything that has the potential to make my life harder is my business.
Stop condoning crime and corruption.
But you must know why you are, am sure. - if the drugs are distributed to the young people of the bvi its everyone's business, strups.

- How many decent law abiding residents have no interest in this? Too many
- Moore (29/05/2017, 09:10) Like (4)Dislike (4)ReplyFor the haters.
Nothing wrong with have some fun. Let us see Police porker run team, Customs team and Financial Services Compliance team out in the water where the action is taking place, rather than complaining.
Free up the jet skis while we are thinking straight. - More,More,More! (29/05/2017, 22:07) Like (10)Dislike (0)ReplyBad enough so many fatal auto accidents happening in BVI due to speeding and wreckless driving. Now these idiots are putting the lives of others innocent boaters in the line of fire with this stupidity.
